Man arrested for multiple burglary incidents in South Hadley

SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) — A man is facing multiple charges in connection with incidents in South Hadley.

According to South Haley police, around 5:31 p.m., officers were on the scene on Chestnut Hill Road where a car had been broken into.

Officials said a 38-year-old man was arrested on several charges.

The same individual is also charged in connection with auto break-ins that occurred on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, in the area of ​​North Main and Maple Streets.

He is accused of the following:

  • Two cases of nighttime break-in into a vehicle/boat
  • Attempt to commit a crime
  • Identity fraud
  • Credit card theft
  • Improper use of a credit card under $1200
  • Credit card fraud under $1200
  • Theft under $250 from +60/Disabled.
