LANCASTER, CA (June 10, 2024) – Four people suffered minor to serious injuries in a drunk driving accident at the corner of Avenue J and 20th Street.

According to the Lancaster Sheriff’s Station, the two-car crash occurred around 3:40 p.m. on Saturday. However, minutes earlier, police had spotted the driver of a stolen Saturn, who sped off when he saw officers. The gray stolen SUV then collided with a silver sedan. Shortly afterward, paramedics and police arrived at the scene to find both cars with significant front-end damage after they struck a traffic light pole.
