Couple arrested for fight in Milford

MILFORD, Delaware – Two women were arrested following a fight in Milford Sunday night.

At around 8:45 p.m., officers were called to the 600 block of NW Front Street for a fight in progress. It was discovered that 25-year-old Tyera Jarrett had punched 26-year-old Tamira Griffin during the fight. Griffin also allegedly attacked Jarrett with a baseball bat during the fight.

Jarrett was charged with offensive touching and disorderly conduct and was held on $200 bail. Griffin was charged with possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony, second-degree assault, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and disorderly conduct and was held on $16,100 bail.
