New Milford Police Ask Public’s Help in Identifying a Reckless Driver

New Milford Police are asking the public for help in identifying a driver who allegedly sped past them during a traffic stop.

They say the car was traveling at about 65 miles per hour, coming within feet of police officers conducting a traffic stop.

It happened on May 24 on Danbury Road near Pickett District Road.

Police say they are looking for a gray 2021 BMW M340xi, adding they have an incomplete license plate and believe the same car fled from police on Danbury Road on May 5.
