Senator Fetterman and his wife involved in car accident in Maryland

According to multiple reports, Pennsylvania Democratic Senator John Fetterman and his wife Gisele Fetterman were involved in a car accident in Maryland on Sunday.

Fetterman, who lives in Braddock (just outside Pittsburgh), was involved in an accident on I-70 in Maryland, according to a spokesman.

He was taken to a local hospital “out of an abundance of caution” and treated for a shoulder bruise.

He was released Sunday afternoon.

Fetterman was reportedly driving another vehicle when it struck the back of another vehicle, both traveling west on I-70.

Fetterman’s office says he and Gisele are back at their home in Braddock.

Fetterman is also expected to be in Washington DC to vote this week.
