Atlanta star Tommie Lee arrested for battery in Miami Beach

The TV personality was arrested in the early hours of Monday, June 10 outside Club LIV in Miami.

Love and hip-hop: Atlanta Star Tommie Lee was charged with battery on Monday, June 10, in Miami, Florida, outside the popular Club LIV, NBC 6, Local 10 and 7 News Miami report.

Lee (born Atasha Jefferson) was arrested at the scene at 4441 Collins Ave. LIV after 2 a.m., according to an arrest report, according to Local 10.

The old Love and hip-hop: Atlanta The actor, 39, allegedly approached a man she said she had never met and tried to hand him something. But once he refused the offer, Jefferson allegedly became aggressive, punched him in the face, swore at him and threatened to kill him, according to Local 10.

After the altercation, the victim held her down until authorities arrived. Police later reviewed surveillance footage of the incident and it corroborated the victim’s statement.

Jefferson was later arrested for battery and taken to Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center without incident.

During his tenure on Love and hip-hop: Atlanta in 2016, she revealed that she had been arrested nearly 30 times.

Before her arrest Monday, Jefferson was last charged in January 2019 with several counts, including aggravated assault, cruelty to children, battery, stalking and disturbing a public school, according to AJC.com, for allegedly pushing her child’s head into a metal locker. and dragged her by her hair.

In October 2018, she was first arrested and charged with aggravated assault, battery and child cruelty after an incident at her child’s middle school, according to TMZ. Hours after this arrest, she was arrested a second time after allegedly making contact with her daughter; she was arrested at her home and charged with aggravated stalking and obstructing an officer, WSB-TV Atlanta reported.
