13-year-old dies in Mendenhall after an accident, the police said

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – Memphis Police are investigating a crash that left one person dead and two teenagers injured.

At approximately 3:11 p.m., officers responded to a single-vehicle crash on Mendenhall Road near Greenway Avenue.

When police arrived, they discovered that three victims had been injured in the accident.

An adult victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two teenagers were taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition.

It was later reported that one of the young people was 13 years old.

The 13-year-old was later taken to the hospital and declared dead.
