Jefferson City man found dead in Lake of the Ozarks

CAMDEN COUNTY, Missouri – A Jefferson City man drowned overnight in the Lake of the Ozarks.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), 81-year-old Allan G. Mueller was reported missing on June 10 and was last seen on his dock around 5 p.m.

According to an MSHP report, Mueller was found near Spring Cove at around 12:51 a.m. on June 11. He was wearing a flotation device.

MSHP is currently unsure how Mueller ended up in the water.

This is the second drowning incident involving MSHP Troop F in 2024.
