Josh Peck weighed in on Drake Bell’s sexual abuse revelations on “Quiet On Set.”

Josh Peck spoke out after Drake Bell revealed he was mistreated by Nickelodeon dialogue coach Brian Peck.

Drake was one of several former Nickelodeon stars who shared their stories in the newly released ID docuseries Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Children’s Television.

Drake recalled one night when he was staying over at Brian’s house: “I was sleeping on the couch where I usually sleep and when I woke up he saw… He was sexually assaulting me.” And I froze, was completely shocked and had no idea what to do or how to react.”

After the publication of Quiet on setMany of Drake’s former Nickelodeon co-stars supported him, including his on-screen mother, Nancy Sullivan.

Josh – who appeared on Nickelodeon with Drake Drake & Josh – didn’t immediately comment, but he broke his silence on Instagram this afternoon.

Josh wrote: “I finished this Quiet on set Documentary and editing took a few days.

“I have reached out to Drake privately, but I want to extend my support to the survivors who were brave enough to share their stories of emotional and physical abuse on Nickelodeon sets with the world.”

“Children should be protected,” he added. “It is incredibly difficult to relive this publicly, but I hope it can bring healing to the victims and their families, as well as necessary change to our industry.”

Josh’s statement came after fans criticized him for his public silence on Drake’s abuse allegations, which Drake later defended him against on TikTok. In a video, he said Josh had contacted him privately and asked the public to “take it easy for a bit” with his former co-star.
