Police investigate shooting at Montgomery County apartment complex – WHIO TV 7 and WHIO Radio

DAYTON — Police are investigating a shooting at an apartment complex in Dayton Sunday night, a Montgomery County Regional Dispatch supervisor confirmed.

At 9:28 p.m., police and paramedics were dispatched to the Summit Square Apartments in the 600 block of Summit Square Drive on reports of a shooting.

The incident commander said the victim was shot in the hand. It is unclear whether they were transported to the hospital.

Information on any suspects was not immediately available.
