According to police, a 15-year-old attempted to sexually abuse two girls at a high school in Central NY

Fulton, NY – A 15-year-old boy was recently arrested after admitting to attempting to sexually touch and assault two girls just hours apart at his high school in May, police said Tuesday.

A security guard at G. Ray Bodley High School notified Fulton police on May 13 about the sex offenses as they were occurring, said Sergeant Lucas Hollenbeck, a Fulton police spokesman. The boy was arraigned in Oswego County Family Court on May 31.

Based on the police investigation, Hollenback said on Tuesday that the boy violently touched a 15-year-old student during class on the morning of May 13.

Shortly before 1 p.m., Hollenback said, the boy also took a 16-year-old girl into a small room in the locker room area of ​​the school’s gymnasium. He attempted to sexually assault her in the area where there was no surveillance camera, he said.

Both incidents were reported and the victims’ statements were taken, he said.

The boy was later interrogated and admitted his actions, he said.

The boy was charged with sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child in the first incident. In the second incident, he was charged with attempted first-degree sexual abuse, false imprisonment, endangering the welfare of a child and harassment.
