Meet the Adorable Lawnmower Goats at the Houston Arboretum

HOUSTON – Why do you need a lawn mower when you have over 100 goats to do it for you? 😜

Goats from Rent-A-Ruminant Texas have once again returned to the Houston Arboretum to help “mow” – or feed – the overgrown vegetation in areas around the trails.

They were supposed to come here a few weeks ago, but the storms in Houston changed their plan somewhat.

It’s always a great fun activity for the whole family to experience, and this year you can find the goats in a 3-acre area along the Outer Loop between the South Meadow Trail and the Muscadine Trail.

Because bad weather cut their visit short, be sure to grab all the info HERE before heading out to see them.

Watch Lauren Kelly chat with Christine Mansfield – Senior Director of Marketing and Development at the Arboretum, and Kyle Carr – Owner of Rent-A-Ruminant, about these special goats.
