1 dead, another injured in Anderson Co. crash

ANDERSON COUNTY, SC (WSPA) – The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash that occurred on Sunday.

According to the highway patrol, the accident occurred around 1:25 a.m. on Oneal Ferry Road.

A 2003 Dodge pickup was traveling east when it left the roadway and then struck a tree. The driver died at the scene of the accident while the passenger was taken to a nearby hospital.

The coroner’s office has not yet identified the person who died.
