Newark Police have arrested a 33-year-old Newark woman as part of their investigation into an incident that occurred earlier this month.

Lisa Sweeting is accused of reporting an incident that did not occur to authorities on June 2.

Sweeting was charged with making false statements about an incident and released on a summons to appear in Newark Village Court.
