Shooting outside a house in Alameda leaves three dead and at least one injured

Three people were killed in a shooting at a house in Alameda on Wednesday evening, police said.

Alameda police said a resident of the 400 block of Kitty Hawk Road called 911 and told officers his neighbor had been shot.

Officers arrived at the scene and found the victim. Police then searched the victim’s home and found several family members who had been shot.

According to police, some of the victims were minors. Three of the victims died, the others were taken to hospital.

Police have not released the exact number of victims or their identities, but Alameda police said they have a suspect in custody.
