We have one more day of good weather before the extreme heat and humidity return. Highs are expected to be just under 35 degrees today, with mostly sunny skies. It will still be a bit muggy outside, but it should be bearable. Lows should drop to just under 18 degrees.

It will be hot on Friday and temperatures will rise to 38 to 40 degrees, but it will feel more like 38 degrees.

Dangerous heat and humidity will set in by the weekend. Temperatures will be in the high 35s, with afternoon feels of over 38s. Both days will be mostly sunny, with little to no chance of rain.

Monday and Tuesday could be the hottest days of the year in Nashville. Highs will reach 100º on both days. We haven’t seen a 100º temperature since August of last year. Along with the hot temperatures, humidity will be high, making it feel like it’s somewhere between 105º and 110º. For this reason, the Weather days of the first warning will continue next week.
