Sick pervert from Ayrshire raped young girl and sexually abused boy at abandoned train station

A pervert who raped a young girl and sexually abused a boy was sentenced to seven years in prison today.

Ryan Brown, 35, attacked the 10-year-old girl on a property in Drongan, East Ayrshire.



Court records show that Brown grabbed her body and pulled down her underwear before raping her.

Brown had previously abused the boy in a disused railway station in Drongan when he was between four and six years old.

The indictment states that Brown forced his victim to perform sexual acts.

Brown stood behind him and took off his underwear and undergarments.

He then ordered him to bend over before Brown exposed himself.

Brown, from Drongan, was found guilty by a jury and sentenced at the High Court in Glasgow.

Judge Lord Colbeck said: “They deny the offences and accept no responsibility.”

“In these cases, I have to assess the question of guilt and in doing so I look at the question of guilt at the relevant point in time.

“I need to assess the damage you have caused.

“According to the girl’s statement, she suffered psychological damage and trauma that continues to this day.

“There is no other way to deal with you than to detain you for an extended period of time.

“This is to punish and publicly disapprove of your behavior.”

It was revealed that Brown had three previous convictions in 2007 and 2008. He had never been in prison before and had never appeared before the Supreme Court.
