BUFFALO, NY (WIVB) — The East Side Garden Walk is back for its seventh year, taking place from 10 am to 4 pm the weekend of July 20 and 21, featuring over 100 beautiful gardens on Buffalo’s East Side.

This year’s Walk will also feature AKG artists painting both days at the following locations:

  • Renata’s Garden (365 Newburgh Ave.)
  • Grassroots Gardens (389 Broadway)
  • Samantha’s Garden (821 Humboldt Pkwy.)

It will also feature Niagara Frontier Plein Air Painters and the Buffalo Society of Artists, who will be painting at the Burke Avenue Garden (1 Burke Dr.) on Saturday, with art paints and paper supplied for attendees.

Maps for the Walk are available ahead of time at this link or at any downtown public library location, and will also be available at Martin Luther King, Jr. Park near the Masten District Sign and at People’s Park at Main Street and Jewett Parkway, where ESGW shirts will also be for sale.

The Teacher’s Desk will also be distributing 300 PanchoPacks each day of the Walk between 12 and 2 p.m. at the Good Neighbors Garden on Box Avenue. Children must be present to receive a backpack.
