Mueller III, Aaron Zebley, James Quarles and Andrew Goldstein, as well as former President Donald Trump’s efforts to obstruct the special counsel’s investigation.

The investigation – the only federal criminal probe into Trump during his term – was also led by Mueller’s deputy Zebley, Mueller’s senior counsel Quarles and Goldstein, one of Mueller’s lead prosecutors. In 2019, a 448-page redacted version of the team’s findings was released.

While the report found that “the investigation did not establish that members of the Trump campaign colluded with the Russian government or coordinated their activities to influence the election,” it also documented “numerous connections between the Russian government and the Trump campaign.” The report also detailed Trump’s efforts to obstruct Mueller’s investigation.
